Camping

We've recently returned from our first RV camping tent. I've done some back country camping but this trip was my first real experience with RV/car/serviced camping. A few thoughts:

RV Camping

• You still need outdoor cooking gear i.e., a propane stove
• An electrical burner would be helpful
• Condiments, including salt, pepper, steak spice, sugar, and maple syrup
• A lighter for the stove pilot light
• Bigger and better pans and pots
• A table cloth
• A bug shelter for the picnic table
• A lantern
• Clothes line + pins
• Hatchet
• Chairs
• Baby seat

Service Camping

• Tents (3x3-man would be good)
• Sleeping stuff (duvets + puzzle mats)
• Bug shelter for the picnic table
• Tarp
• Extra rope
• Water supply
• Hose with shutoff
• Basin for washing
• Drinking water dispenser
• Electrical stuff
• Extension cord
• Splitter
• DVD player?
• RCA cable extension?
• Fire
• Lighter
• Fire starter
• Irons/sticks

Another thought is packing. Everything for camping should be packed into clear bins, including clothes.
